How should I care for my pottery?
All pottery is safe to wash by hand and in a dishwater, and can also be used in a microwave as well. Specific care notes are included when needed.
What materials do you use?
I work with wild-harvested clays, natural minerals, ash glazes, crystals, and botanicals. Many materials are locally foraged or ethically sourced.
Are your pieces food-safe?
Functional ceramic pieces intended for food use are fired and finished with food-safe surfaces. Items that are decorative or ceremonial are clearly labeled.
I bought a plant with your pot? How do I keep it alive?
Thank you so much for supporting my business. Please consult the guide hand out that should've been included with your pot. And here is a link to my plant care 101
What materials do you use?
Variation is a feature, not a flaw. Natural materials and atmospheric firings create unique surfaces that reflect the living qualities of earth, fire, air, and water. Ceramic surfaces may differ slightly between the naked eye and what is able to be captured via a camera lens.
What inspires your work?
My work is inspired by earth processes, ancestral traditions, and the relationship between humans and the natural world. Each piece is created as a vessel for connection, intention, and stewardship.
